I shared with you several of my family heirlooms at our last party, but did keep a couple aside for this weekend.
My sweet Gramma Bea made my sister Lyssie and me many things when we were young. Clothes for us, dollies, clothes for our dollies, blankets. She was an excellent seamstress.
Here's two of my favorite blankets that she made. I remember many nights snuggling up with them while Gramma told stories. They are so well made, that I enjoyed them for years, my older daughter wrapped up in them for years, and now my Emma gets to enjoy them. My hope is that one day they will continue to be loved on by my Grand babies and so on.
Love the sweet fabric she used. Of course it's covered with little yarn knots. And the underside is lined with soft pink flannel.
This is my fave print. So bright and happy.
Remember Grampa Charlie's hutch that he made 55 years ago?
He made it for my Mama when she was a young girl. Since then it has been handed down to all the girls in our family. Currently it resides in our school room for Emma to enjoy.
Since our last Heirloom Party, it got a make-over with a nice creamy new coat of paint. New life for a precious piece of furniture.

Okay, so what's a celebration without a present? Right? How about a little something from our dear Hudson Goods?
Like one of Karl's sailboats. Yep, it's cute. Comes in red too.
Or one of my faves, the small vintage glass jar with metal lid. Oh my.
How about a sweet retro tin sign? Apples anyone?
Look at this adorable rustic birdhouse!
